Referral Building - The tough job

My next few posts would be on Traffic Building to your site and Building downlines for your programs. Prior to that, I would like to share my view on a common scene in referral building – People evading to join as a referral when using your referral links!

Are you one among those who wish to earn some bucks from GPT (PTC, PTR, PTSU, PTW, Money Cycler, etc.) business?

This post is for you! You are most likely to join one or more programs that suites your interests. As part of that process, you for sure would research about the program that you might join, try to collect some past facts about them and learn about their operations to ensure that you are attracted towards the legit and best ones.

By now, you should also be aware of the fact that "Referrals" or "Downlines" are integral part of any online earning business. It is inevitable that you should look for referrals that would join the same programs you joined under you. Thus it becomes imminent that you would advertise the program, post in some forums, your websites/blogs, share the info on social networking sites and also invest in Paid to Sign-Up offers to get referrals under you.

Though whatever I have said above is unequivocally true for any program or anybody, what I do notice in reality is this – When people are offered registration links for some good programs, we tend to ensure that we do not join UNDER them as referrals.

While in most programs the referral field is editable and users may clear the form before joining the site, some other programs make it non-editable in the best interests of their referrers. Here’s the better part – Users manually clear all cookies and cached web pages before clicking on that “REGISTER” button, so that the referral information is removed from the page JJ

While I really don’t have an idea of what could be one valid reason for this, I do wish to explain few things here!

1. Most important thing – Referrals are the most important thing in GPT. No one can make a countable profit single-handedly in this business. Everyone needs referrals in order to see some good amount of cash regularly.
2. No Fees – No program would charge us to join as a referral under somebody who is already associated with the program.
3. No lesser bucks – No program pays lesser commissions to us than our referrers. We always get the full amount of what we are supposed to get from that program.
4. Rented Out – Almost all programs rent out its un-referred members to its users for some cash. So if you don’t join as referral under somebody, the program is going to earn lots of cash by renting you out where you don’t have any option.
5. Help others and get helped – Why try to escape from joining as a referred member? Why let the already profiting program to earn more money by selling you? Instead if you are sure to join a program and if somebody’s review/advertisement/suggestions helped you to make that decision, we can choose to join using their own referral link. That could be one of the ways of complimenting the referrer as that person would be eligible for referral commissions from the program. This is a WIN-WIN situation. If everybody agree with this and stick to this, getting referrals for your programs in future is going to be a cake-walk!
6. Paid to Sign-Up offers – This is one of the ways in which people to seek to get referrals. Users are paid by the PTC site to sign up for a program advertised by the advertiser as advertiser’s referral. The crazy thing is that, even though most advertisers agree to approve the sign up only if the user joins as the advertisers’ referral, we still try not join under the advertiser (not to mention those people who post false sign up confirmation letters to get paid by the advertiser). This is not a fair play at all!
